DARK LIGHT SERIES
The series Dark Light explores the figure as a carrier of inner tension and transformation. The figures appear in undefined spaces where light does not illuminate the scene, but emerges as part of it – as a point of concentration, resistance, or disruption.
The paintings do not form closed narratives, but function as fragments – situations in which a part stands in for a larger whole. The figure is not a depiction of a specific individual, but a trace of an internal process. In this sense, the series is grounded in the principle of synecdochical quasi-realism, where detail carries the meaning of a broader, often unseen structure.
